Listed above are a few of my favorite songs. I have a passion for music so it is really hard for me to narrow it down to just a few. My favorite artists are Carrie Underwood and Eminem but I enjoy listening to almost all types of music. I chose the song So Small by Carrie Underwood because I can relate. She explains in the song that everyday is an obstacle but when you look back on it things are not as bad as they seemed at the time. The song Stronger by Sara Evans was an amazing song that came out as I was going through a break up. The song gave me motivation to move on with my life. There was not a particular reason that I chose Toy Soldiers by Eminem I just love the way he voices his opinions about his life in his music. Lastly Wasted by Carrie Underwood, this song is a harsh reminder of a few of my friends, my brother, and my sister and their addiction to drugs and alcohol. Seeing them with fogged over eyes is the hardest thing ever, and every time I hear this song it reminds me to call them up and check on them.
Music is a passion of mine so if a song is on, it does not matter if I don't know the lyrics to it I will sing along. Freshman year in high school I sang at Carnegie Hall in New York City, for those of you that don't know this is a once in a life time chance. I of all the kids that sang got chosen to sing a solo in front of over 3000 people. This is my biggest accomplishment in life so far.
I really enjoyed reading your bog! :) I can really relate to the reasons you chose the songs ,Stronger- Sara Evans and So Small- Carrie Underwood. I also think its great that you listen to different genres ( I'm the same).
